Hello friends,
As you may know, I'm writing this newsletter from Iran. A country with contradictions between what the people want as basic rights and what the regime wants. These days you may have heard the news on social media or other news channels about protests in Iran after the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22 years old girl who was arrested by moral police for hijab. Now she's an icon. She's a symbol of protests. Women here with men are doing brave acts to show how they want to live and what freedom means to them.
Many celebrities and people around the world shared their feelings with Iranians.
There are street fights between anti-riot police, regime supporters, and people. The rage is high, and limits are reached for people. I have the same feelings. I feel angry about all these years and what is happening now. It's the result of repression—not hearing the voices.
Sometimes I think we are living in a tragic movie, and sometimes I think about how we could learn to continue living under such pressure. Sometimes I have this strong appreciation for the people of my country, including me, that we have learned to adapt, embrace and continue life.
For now, access to the Internet is restricted. They cut it. I'm not sure if I can continue to write and publish regularly. But writing or maintaining a newsletter is not essential right now. What does matter is how this anger will transform.
I'm experiencing a different kind of leadership here, which is not attached to a position or someone. It's a self-organized movement example. Today leadership means sensing what's happening now and creating the emerging future from what we sense as a collective. What is happening in Iran is a distributed phenomenon that has no owner but is owned by people.
The protests may end or suppress, but there is a voice, and voice is everywhere.

What’s happening right now in Iran and even the rest of the world which we can call profound chaos leads me to stick more to this purpose that we need to learn and apply a new mindset of living and working with less harm, toward equality for humans and nature. We need to sync ourselves across the world with the rhythm of life.
